NDLEA arrests disabled woman with 24 sacks of cannabis

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Thursday confirmed the arrest of a suspected drug dealer, Celina Ekeke, in Obunku community, in the Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The spokesperson for the agency in the state, Emmanuel Ogbumgbada, in a statement, said the female suspect was arrested with 24 sacks of cannabis sativa weighing 231.2kg.
The statement read, “On Wednesday, June 29, 2022, around 2am, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in the Etche area command of Rivers State carried out a search operation at Obunku community of Oyigbo LGA and arrested one Celina Ekeke, a notorious drug dealer with 24 sacks of cannabis sativa weighing 231.2kg.
“She has been on the watch list of the agency for some time now as she uses her deformed legs to disguise and sell illicit drugs. She is presently undergoing investigation at the Rivers State command headquarters.”
