The forward has always had the potential and talent to have a massive career, but he is currently in the form of his life.

How many goals has Mbappe scored for France?
Mbappe’s parents are from Cameroon and Algeria, so he could have easily ended up representing one of those.
However, the French Football Federation moved very quickly to secure his international future once they realised his talent.
As a result, Mbappe was called into the French senior team in March 2017 when he was 18 years old.

Mbappe is already one of France’s best-ever playersHe made 13 appearances for France’s various youth teams before Didier Deschamps decided that he was ready.
Mbappe made his debut from off the bench in a 3-1 win over Luxembourg, but he didn’t get his first goal for Les Bleus until August of that same year.
France played the Netherlands in a friendly, and in a 15-minute cameo, the forward bagged his first of 33 international goals.
But he had to wait another six games before his next two arrived against Russia.
Mbappe has 63 caps for his country, but only scored three goals in his first 12 matches, which means his next 30 have come in just 51 games.
And since last summer, the PSG superstar has bagged 16 times in just 14 matches and is consistently getting better and better.
Olivier Giroud is now France’s all-time top goalscorer after passing Thierry Henry’s record of 51 goals against Poland in the round of 16, but you wouldn’t imagine that will last long given Mbappe’s form.
Certainly, he will be passing a few French legends on the scoring charts in the coming months.

How many goals has Mbappe scored at the World Cup?
The World Cup in 2018 was where Mbappe made his first major impression on the international stage.
Before he went to Russia, Mbappe scored just four goals in his first 15 appearances for the national team.
He did provide six assists in that time, but as a goalscorer, he was nowhere near his current level.
But the 2018 World Cup changed everything as Mbappe scored four goals, including the winner against Peru, two in the 4-3 win over Argentina and one in the final against Croatia.
In the space of a month, the PSG star doubled his goal tally and became a world champion.
He has picked up where he left off in Qatar and is leading the goalscoring charts with five.
He scored against Australia in the opener before bagging twice against Denmark and Poland.
He is now on nine World Cup goals in just 11 matches and could play a potential three more in this tournament as he looks to make France back-to-back world champions.
Mbappe has an ‘obsession‘ with the World Cup and is just seven goals behind the all-time top World Cup goalscorer Miroslav Klose, with the likes of Pele and Just Fontaine in his sights as well.
