'Traitor' Ally McCoist scores SIX goals as ITV beat talkSPORT 10-6 in pundits match

talkSPORT’s Ally McCoist jumped ship to score a whopping SIX goals with a ‘Lionel Messi-like’ performance in a media match with ITV.
A number of famous faces took to the field in Qatar against a team of talkSPORT staff, which ended in a 10-6 win for ITV who boasted Manchester United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville.
The TV network even had former England international Karen Carney, but despite those three huge names, McCoist was the difference.
The talkSPORT Breakfast host has been commentating at the World Cup for ITV, and his opposite number on the radio with talkSPORT, Nigel Adderley, gave the lowdown.
“It was a really good game again and I have to say that Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Karen Carney were all playing and they were all tremendous to deal with,” he said.
“But the star player once again is a talkSPORT player, Ally McCoist… playing for ITV.
“It was a 10-6 victory for ITV and Ally scored six of them and we just could not get near him, it’s incredible, he barely moves but he’s always in space.”
talkSPORT host Paul Hawksbee then added: “Sounds like Messi!”

As it sounds similar to MessiAdderley continued: “Players like Roy Keane and Gary Neville can just take the game away from you but I think they played well within themselves.
“I think they enjoy a run out, enjoy getting out of the hotel and they were tremendous with us before, during and after the game.
“It’s been a fantastic experience and I think for some of the younger lads to play on the same pitch as Roy Keane and Gary Neville, and for all of us it’s just a massive massive honour and something we’ll remember from this World Cup for a long, long time.”

Arsenal great Wrighty was MOTM as ITV beat Team talkSPORT in their first kickabout in QatartalkSPORT’s transfer guru Alex Crook also added his thoughts, and wasn’t too happy with McCoist, as he joked.
“The rematch between @itvfootball and @talkSPORT ended in a 10-6 defeat for us,” Crook wrote, along with a picture of him and McCoist.
“Keane outstanding again. This traitor weighed in with SIX!”
Team talkSPORT’s first match played earlier in the week was another victory for ITV, with Keane, Neville and McCoist also joined by Arsenal legend Ian Wright, who was named Man of the Match in a 5-2 win.
